The quarter ended Dec. 31 is the company’s second fiscal quarter.

The Wabash-based parent of First Federal Savings Bank of Wabash posted the 2004 numbers after accounting for a loss of $1.8 million on the value of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac preferred stock in the company’s portfolio.

FFW’s total assets as of Dec. 31 were $267.6 million, a 4 percent increase over the $257.2 million in assets the company reported as of June 30.

In addition to its main office in Wabash, the bank operates branches in Columbia City, North Manchester, South Whitley and Syracuse.
